Bigger and better than ever!
Whether
you have been to one of our previous emergency preparedness fairs or
not, you will not want to miss this years EPS Fair. This event will
now involve nearly three times the exhibitors and activities of any
of our previous events.
Please
take advantage of this unique opportunity to have a fun activity
with the family and become better informed, better prepared, and
perhaps even get involved in emergency preparedness and safety all
at the same time!
With the expanded indoor and outdoor display areas, there will be
plenty to do and see.
Did
we mention that this event is free to the public? that's right, there
is no admission
charge and there is plenty of free parking on site!
The indoor display area will feature all kinds of fun and
educational things to do and see. The very popular DVFD
crawl-thru maze will be set up and there will be plenty of other activities for the kids.
There will be over forty
organizations represented inside with plenty of good information on
emergency
preparedness
and safety. When you get hungry or thirsty, the Damascus Volunteer
Fire Department will be selling plenty of good food and drinks
that are sure to satisfy.
The outdoor display area is greatly expanded and will feature all kinds of emergency
response vehicles on display from area fire
departments,
police departments, search & rescue teams, American Red Cross,
utility companies, and even some military vehicles including a 25'
United States Coast Guard boat. Trot-SAR will be bringing their
horses again this year and they plan do to a search & rescue demonstration.
Not enough? also outside we will have seminars, more activities for
the kids, and the Maryland National Army Guard is bringing their
climbing wall and tricked -out hummer with Xbox 360 game systems
which is sure to be a hit.

Still not enough? Good, because there is plenty more to see and do! Please mark your calendar today and bring your entire family and friends to this wonderful event. You're sure to have a great time and hopefully you will leave more informed, better prepared, and maybe even involved...
